Who we are

Emerson North LLC operates a marketing and growth services platform for small businesses. Our website is emersonnorth.com.

What data we collect

When you use our client onboarding or services, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and connected account credentials (such as social media accounts, Stripe, or calendar access). We use this data solely to set up and operate your account and services.

SMS messaging

When you provide your phone number through our website or a booking form, you may receive SMS messages from us or from platforms powered by Emerson North, such as appointment reminders, confirmations, or service updates. Your phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

Google API Services

When you connect your Google account through the Emerson North client portal, we request access to the following Google services on your behalf:

• Google Calendar — We read and create calendar events to manage your appointment scheduling, prevent double-bookings, and coordinate client communications.
• Gmail (read) — We read incoming emails relevant to your client communications so our AI assistant can respond promptly on your behalf.
• Gmail (send) — We send emails from your Gmail account as part of the automated follow-up and communication workflows included in your service plan.

This access is entirely optional. You may disconnect your Google account at any time from the Settings page in your client portal, and we will immediately stop accessing your data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your Google account data with third parties. We do not use data obtained from Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models. Our use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use your data

We use your data to deliver the services you signed up for, communicate with you about your account, send transactional notifications (including SMS), and improve our platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-party services

We use third-party services including Stripe (payments), Google (calendar and email), Twilio (SMS delivery), and our CRM platform. Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon disconnecting your Google account, we delete your stored Google credentials immediately.
